Iron shield of convex circular shape, fitted with four flower-shaped studs and with a rim provided with a riveted brass ring. The entire surface is divided into cartouches with gilt borders; at the center a lion attacking a deer. The four larger cartouches depict mounted archers, eight cartouches show hares, and the smaller ones birds or floral motifs. The border decorated with large cartouches alternating with smaller ones bearing Qur'anic inscriptions in silver. The interior with red fabric and four rings for the handles (missing). Of good quality.
