Iron skull, surmounted by a square-section crest with a knot and a base shaped-as-a-truncated-cone. The front part is provided with a sliding nose-piece, at the ends of which there are cartouches with floral decorations in gold; on the sides there are two plume holders. The entire surface of the helmet is decorated with fine floral engravings in bas-relief, enriched with cartouches and bands in gold; the lower band features large and small cartouches featuring verses from the Koran, partially remade in silver. Complete with a mail neck-defense with very small iron rings, with a simple closure and fringed lower edge.
