The front features a flaming grenade in relief among laurel branches. Leather chin-straps armoured with scales, with a mark 'A', with lion's head rosettes. Visor and brim edged in white metal. Black horsehair crest. The interior with remains of green dye and an old leather cap (probably from a later period).
