Austria
length 105 cm.
Heavy, octagonal, rifled barrel, with slightly corroded (pitting) bore and clearly visible rifling; refreshed bluing. Signed “IOH. SPOCK A NEUSTAT” at the base. Rear sight with two sight leaves and brass foresight; 14.6 mm cal. at the nozzle. Smooth tang. Lock converted to percussion (circa 1850). Wooden, full stock, slightly engraved and carved with lines and floral motifs; butt stock with groove at the base and patchbox (contains a barrel cleaning tool). Brass mounts. Knob under the butt stock. Iron ramrod. Very rare.
