Iron skull with curved peak, beautifully decorated with oval cartouches framed and surmounted by classical figures in armour, alternating with other narrower strips with geometric motifs. At the base, a row of iron rivets with large embossed brass rosettes (three missing). Slightly sloping brim engraved with simple geometric motifs; smooth, upturned round border. The interior is painted black. It needs cleaning, in very good condition.
