Wide, slightly curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller on both sides; tang marked "HAUSSMANN" and "1847". Iron hilt with large openwork knuckle guard with eight holes and window for the sword knot, marked “JURMAN” and "1837", with imperial mark. Long, smooth cap. Wooden grip covered with leather (probably restored), without wire binding. Leather sword knot. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings.
