Straight, double-edged blade with a central fuller; the forte finely burin-engraved with the Savoyard arms beneath a crown, trophies, and floral motifs. Ricasso marked “SOLINGEN.” Bright-metal hilt, the shell bearing a crowned anchor flanked by two lion heads. Additional lion heads at the ends of the quillon, at the centre of the loop-guard, and on the pommel. Wooden grip with mother-of-pearl scales. Missing scabbard.
