length 41.5 cm.
Smoothbore, two-stage, 13 mm cal. barrel, square and faceted with rings at the girdle and small frames at the breech and at the moulded muzzle, signed in block letters on the firing chamber "LAZARINO COMINAZZO"; two rust marks on the nozzle. Wheel plate with smooth lock plate and stylised flower at the end, external wheel with carved wheel cover, cock with baluster grip also carved; inside, round mark with the initials "BP" (probably attributable to Bernardo Paratici). Full, walnut stock (old repair at the end of the shaft) with beautiful carved and fretwork steel mounts; of particular note are the trigger guard and the beautiful half-round, fretwork butt-plate, with a button. Baluster trigger. Belt hook. Carved-and-turned-tipped wooden ramrod.
