Pointed ogival morion with curved apex, decorated with circular cartouches featuring the heads of men armed in ancient style; the central parts with bands widening at the base depicting cherubs supporting a tower with a cross, all between helmets and eagles; at the base, a row of simple iron rivets; A boat-shaped visor engraved with leaves, rebated on the border, which is roped. Composite gorget, missing neck plates, the front plate with remains of Pisan engraving; missing parts and ancient repairs. Magnificent chestplate, beautifully decorated with polished bands alternating with others surmounted by cartouches featuring heroic figures and trophies of arms, each delimited by geometric frames. Eleven-plated sides decorated in the same way, attached to the chestplate by original bronze leather strings and buckles; movable and restored gussets. Matching but not original backplate, decorated with similar motifs, again with two circular medallions featuring warriors' heads connecting at the top of the back neckline; period leather strings and buckles. Asymmetrical complete brassards, the right one for horse riding, matching but not original, both engraved similarly and featuring original leather strings.
