Wide, slightly curved blade with triple groove, with an inscription in Arabic in bas-relief with a gold frame on the right side of the base, the opposite side with two cartouches featuring an inscription in Arabic and a stylised lion, traces of gilding. Hilt with silver cross hilt, gold plate engraved with floral motifs (minor restoration) on the center of crossguard, angled hilt with pierced gold band (small loss), with bone plate at the base. Wooden scabbard covered with leather (the two bands with suspension ring are missing) with two silver mounts engraved with floral and geometric motifs, the cap also decorated with a plate and gold frame on both sides. Small defects. Very rare.
