Double-edged blade made of copper, with round tip and long tang, completely gilded (small missing parts) with an inscription in Arabic "sanaíat ghat libya" (Manufacture of Ghat, Libya) inside a frame followed by decorations depicting small circles at the first part of the right side. With geometric decorations on the other side . Copper hilt with quillon inclined towards the blade with a stylized animal's head. Rectangular loop-guard with rounded corners and decorated with small circles. Pommel featuring a star within a stylized crescent. Handle covered with copper foil and decorated in bas-relief. Copper scabbard engraved, embossed and pierced with geometric motifs. Two suspension rings.
