"The Tortured Poets Department" is the eleventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, released on April 19, 2024, by Republic Records. The album is divided into two parts, each with a very different sound. The first part, produced by Jack Antonoff, features a more traditional pop-rock sound, with songs like "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" and "The Great War." The second part, produced by Aaron Dessner, is more experimental and introspective, with indie-folk and dream pop influences.
