Information

"Karate Kid" poster signed by Ralph Macchio. The poster measures 16" x 20" (41 x 51 cm) and the signature is authenticated by the JSA. "Karate Kid" is much more than just a film; it is a cultural phenomenon of the 1980s that inspired an entire generation with its messages of discipline, perseverance, and the fight against bullying. At the center of this success is Ralph Macchio, the actor who gave the unforgettable Daniel LaRusso his life. Macchio played Daniel, a teenager who, after moving to California, clashes with a gang of bullies at the Cobra Kai dojo. His life changes radically when he meets the wise and mysterious Mr. Miyagi (played by Pat Morita), who teaches him karate not just as a martial art, but as a philosophy of life ("wax on, wax off"). The success of "The Karate Kid" (and its sequels) catapulted Ralph Macchio to fame, making him a pop culture icon. Today, the legacy of "The Karate Kid" lives on more than ever thanks to the popular spin-off series "Cobra Kai," where Ralph Macchio reprises his iconic role, demonstrating the enduring appeal of his character and the continuing impact of a story that teaches that true strength lies not only in the fists, but in balance and respect.
