Ferrara arrived at Napoli in 1984, just as Diego Armando Maradona was beginning to write the club's most glorious chapters. The Ferrara-Maradona partnership became a symbol of an era, a winning duo that led Napoli to two Scudetti, one Coppa Italia, and one Supercoppa Italiana.
