Floyd Mayweather Jr. , born February 24, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is an American former professional boxer and current boxing promoter. Nicknamed "Money" and "The Pretty Boy", he is considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, undefeated in 50 professional fights with 27 wins by knockout. He made his professional debut in 1996 and quickly rose through the ranks, winning titles in five weight divisions: super featherweight, welterweight, super welterweight, super lightweight, and middleweight.
He has had several memorable rivalries, including with Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor.
He retired from boxing in 2017 with a perfect record of 50-0.
