Jamie Richard Vardy (born 11 January 1987) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Leicester City. Considered as one of the strongest center forwards in English football, in his career he played for various amateur teams, before establishing himself with the Leicester City shirt with which he won a Premier League championship (2015-2016), an FA Cup ( 2020-2021) and a Community Shield (2021). With the English national team, for which he has twenty-six appearances and seven goals, he took part in a European championship (2016) and a world championship (2018).
