Isiah Lord Thomas III (Chicago, April 30, 1961) is a former American basketball player, basketball coach and sports manager, professional in the NBA. Although he does not have a remarkable height (1.85 m) for professional basketball, he is the all-time leader in points, assists, steals and games played for the Detroit Pistons, the team from which he was chosen in the 1981 draft as the second pick absolute. He won the NBA title twice in a row in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons.
