Christopher Clive Froome, known as Chris (Nairobi, 20 May 1985), is a British-born Kenyan road cyclist who races for the Israel-Premier Tech team. A professional since 2007, he is considered one of the best cyclists of his generation, being one of seven riders - with Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Felice Gimondi, Bernard Hinault, Vincenzo Nibali and Alberto Contador - to have won all three major cycling Tours: Giro d'Italia (in 2018), Tour de France (in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017) and Vuelta a España (in 2011 and 2017); he also won two time trial bronze medals at the Olympic Games representing Great Britain (in 2012 and 2016).
