Bernardo Silva (Lisbon, 10 August 1994) is a Portuguese footballer, midfielder for Manchester City and the Portuguese national team, with which he won the 2018-2019 UEFA Nations League. Raised in Benfica's youth system, he made his debut with the first team on 19 October 2013. In 2014 he was loaned with the right to buy to Monaco with whom he won the 2016/17 French championship. On 26 May 2017, Manchester City announced the purchase of the player, a team with which he won 5 English championships, 4 English League Cups, 2 FA Cups and the UEFA Champions League 2022-23.
