Japanese porcelain plate produced in 1982 in a limited, numbered edition and signed on the bottom by actress Shirley Temple. In the original box and complete with certificate. The scene is dedicated to one of her most famous films, "Baby Take a Bow." The film "Baby Take a Bow" (also known in Italy as Piccola Stella) is a 1934 dramatic comedy directed by Harry Lachman. It is considered her first starring film and one of her funniest roles. Temple plays Shirley Ellison, the daughter of an ex-convict, Eddie Ellison (played by James Dunn), who is trying to make an honest living as a chauffeur. The little girl, with her charm and innocence, tries to help her father clear his name following a series of misunderstandings and the return of an old criminal associate. The film is known for the musical number "On Account—a I Love You," sung by Temple herself and James Dunn. At the time, it was a commercial success and is remembered as a sentimental and pleasant tale.
