For true Pokémon collectors, there are rare cards, graded cards... and then there are absolute pieces of history. This lot represents a unique opportunity to take home an original work of art signed by the undisputed master of the trading card game: Mitsuhiro Arita (historical illustrator of the 1999 Charizard Base Set). The starting card is a simple Fire Energy card (no coincidence chosen to feature the king of Fire-type Pokémon). The card's surface was transformed into an exceptional canvas during one of the most exclusive signing sessions at Umbriacon 2026. The card is housed in an elegant black frame, ready to be displayed in the most important Pokémon collections. The sketch was created entirely freehand by master Arita using a confident stroke of a permanent black and red marker. It is not a simple signature, but a detailed drawing that captures the proud profile and the very essence of the brand's most famous dragon. The drawing features the artist's official autograph in Japanese (Kanji) and Western characters. Complete sketch commissions by Mitsuhiro Arita during European events like Umbriacon are extremely limited in number due to tight deadlines and overwhelming demand. Finding a sketch of Charizard—his sacred monster—on a themed card is the pinnacle of collectors' dreams. Included in the lot is a collectible Art Card (a promotional art print) by Arita, autographed by the Japanese Master and also released at Umbriacon.
