Volume with 200 offset prints by various artists applied, contained in the original case

Howard Gilman, owner of the paper industry that bears his name was also a photographs' collector (which he later donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art) and this volume, printed in only 1,200 copies, tells the story that begins with images from the late 19th century and ends with those from the 1960s. The preciousness of the volume lies in the fact that the 200 offset prints were not simply reproduced but applied on the pages.
