Leaving painting after meeting Edward Steichen, George Hurrell established himself in the Hollywood starbiz by photographing the first silent and sound film stars of MGM, to move later on to those of Warner Bros and finally to Columbia. His very balanced black and white images were often used to launch the new protagonists of the star system.Contact
