Original comic art made by Bogdanove for "Ghosts," published in Superman: The Man of Steel n. 21 on page 15 by DC in 1993. Jonathan Kent appears to be having a heart-to-heart conversation with his son Clark, aka Superman, in Clark's childhood bedroom on the family farm in Smallville. But when Martha Kent opens the door, the heartbreaking truth is revealed: Clark died (in the previous issue) at the hands of Doomsday, and Jonathan has been speaking to an empty room, burdened by guilt for always encouraging his son to become a hero.
