Daily comic strip from June 21, 1991, for "Doonesbury." An American comic strip created and illustrated by Garry Trudeau, which debuted in newspapers on October 26, 1970, intertwining real-life American politics with the stories of generations of fictional characters. Extremely popular at home and abroad, it has appeared in over 1,400 newspapers and magazines worldwide and is the subject of much anecdote in American culture and politics. Trudeau was the first comic book artist to win a Pulitzer Prize, in 1975. He also won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for "A Doonesbury Special." Slight crease in the lower left corner. Signed, dated, and dedicated.
