Original painting made by Costantini in 1978, titled "Un peu de l'ame des bandits," inspired by the Bonnot Gang led by French anarchist and outlaw Jules Bonnot (pictured here driving alongside the young Octave Garnier). This museum-quality work has been published numerous times: in Giorgio Soavi's essay "Il sogno continua" (The Dream Continues) on page 229 by Rizzoli in 1982, in Roberto Farina's essay "Flavio Costantini: L'anarchia, molto cordialmente" (Anarchy, Very Cordially) on page 208 by Milieu in 2016, in the exhibition catalog "Costantini: La luce nel silenzio" (Costantini: Light in Silence) on page 54 by Electa in 2000, and as the cover of the exhibition catalog "L'illustrazione racconta: la collezione Cereda" (Illustration Tells: The Cereda Collection) by the Peano Foundation in 2022. Titled on the back, with a drawing and artist's notes. Signed and dated.
