Sunday comic strip from August 13, 1944, for "Right Around Home." Created in 1938 by the genius of Fisher, "Right Around Home" is the quintessential American strip, set in a suburban setting and focusing on a family from that neighborhood. But what made his Sunday comic strip unique was its format; it employed a top-down view, showing numerous characters in a single, immense panel that filled an entire Sunday page. The protagonist, the small and energetic Myrtle, became so popular that she earned her own strip a few years later.
