Original strip n. 152 made by Bonvi for the regular "Sturmtruppen" series in 1969. One of the very rare Sturm strips in its first version, first published in the Palermo newspapers Paese Sera and L'Ora and subsequently in the volume "Sturmtruppen" published by the Bologna-based publishing house New Time in 1970. As many know, the history of the first original Sturmtruppen strips is rather troubled, many were lost by Bonvi himself and others were damaged by the use of retinal glues and markers which over time proved inadequate, so for subsequent reprints many strips were redrawn by Bonvi's collaborators (Silver or Clod), only those bearing Bonvi's signature are to be considered the first version and therefore the only ones actually drawn by Bonvi. The Bolognese master decided to preserve this strip by applying a transparent film over it, effectively ensuring that time has not tarnished the beauty of this masterpiece. Extremely rare. Signed and dated.
