Original drawing made by Wood for the promotion of the Disney short "Don Donald," directed by Ben Sharpsteen in January 1937; it is the first title in the Donald Duck series and the first in which the character appears as the main character. It is also the first time a love interest is introduced for Donna Duck, although it is unclear whether Donna is simply an older version of Daisy Duck or a separate character altogether.
