Original comic art made by Toppi for page 11 of "The Tear of Timur Leng," first published serially in the magazine L'Eternauta in 1984. It is the third chapter of the celebrated "The Collector" saga, the only serial character in Toppi's career. The protagonist is an elegant yet ruthlessly cynical man who dedicates his life to the pursuit of rare and virtually unknown objects, which he uncovers through his research in the most diverse and exotic places on the globe. It is precisely in his depictions of these faraway places that Toppi is at his best, with a unique composition of his illustrations that makes every single page of this saga a small work of art. Extremely rare.
