Original cover made by Marcarini for "L'embuscade," published in Diabolik (series III) n. 77 by the French publishing house Éditions de l'Occident in 1980. After the dazzling success in Italy of The King of Terror, the brainchild of the Giussani sisters in 1962, the adventures of Diabolik were also printed in France starting in 1966, leaving an indelible mark on the imagination of many generations of readers. Extremely rare.
