Brimming with charm, action, and elegance, this wonderful strip, titled "Pass the Splint, Squint," features young Terry and "Hotshot" Charlie repelling an air attack, while Slits makes unwanted advances towards the Dragon Lady aboard her ship below. Caniff's style, here at its finest, would greatly influence the style of the greatest cartoonists of the second half of the 20th century, such as Kirby, Miller, and Pratt. Signed and dated.
