Daily comic strip from November 4, 1930, made by Gottfredson for the famous story "Mickey Mouse and the Handsome Guy," which first appeared in strip format in the U.S. under the title "Mr. Slicker and the Egg Robbers" from September to December 1930 and was published in Italy in Nel regno di Topolino n. 23 in 1936. Among the oldest strips ever to appear on the market, it dates back to just 11 months before Mickey Mouse's birth and is part of the third story arc of the series. As an additional feature, we see Minnie's parents (Mrs. Mouse and Marcus Mouse) for the first, and only, time; in this strip, Minnie's father is worried about the egg thief raiding his chicken coop, a worry that takes shape in a terrifying figure above his humble farmhouse. Pinholes in the corners. A museum piece.
