Original comic art made by Lopez for the second part of his masterpiece "The Eternaut", published for the first time in Argentina on Skorpio by Edictiones Record in 1976 and later in Italy on Lanciostory in 1978. Page 12 (episode II) of the saga created by Héctor Oesterheld, which has become one of the milestones of modern comics. A metaphor and tragic forerunner of the Argentine political situation that would soon lead to dictatorship, The Eternaut has become a symbol of civil revolt and intellectual independence, which cost its author his life when in April 1977 Oesterheld was taken by a Death Squad, thus becoming part of the large group of Argentine desaparecidos. Slight creases and small tears at the edges.
