Daily comic strip (missing the last panel) from 07/28/1924 for "Bringing Up Father". Created by George McManus and first appearing on January 12, 1913, "Bringing Up Father" tells the story of the couple Jiggs and Maggie, two Irish immigrants who suddenly, after a life spent one as a bricklayer and the other as a washerwoman, become wealthy thanks to a lucky lottery win, it is the great American myth, that of the poor man who has the opportunity to get rich. Elegant, refined, caricatural but at the same time splendid, McManus' style is still one of the most shining examples of comic art today. Small hole in the lower margin.
