Original strip made by Pratt for "Corto Maltese: Sogno di una Biennale di fine estate", an adventure of Corto written by Alberto Ongaro and published in installments from August 28 to September 10, 1982 in the newspaper La Repubblica on the occasion of the 39th Venice Film Biennale. The story was later reprinted with the title "The Conspiracy of the Golden Barboncino" in the magazine Comic Art n. 4 in 1984. Corto Maltese and Rasputin find themselves in Venice in 1982, where the Russian is given the task of sabotaging the festival by some faceless politicians. With decidedly ironic traits, this adventure (a clear homage to the world of cinema) represents a divertissement, practically a dream of Corto Maltese; a Pratt in a state of grace gives us some portraits of his Corto among the most inspired of his career.
