Daily comic strip of 05/08/1938 for "Popeye". After a period of rest due to health problems, in May 1938 Segar returns to work on his Popeye giving life to the last storyline before his untimely death entitled "King Swee'Pea" (in Italy it was translated "Il monarca di Roccaverza"). In this surreal adventure set in the kingdom of Demonia we will see the invasion of Popeye's house by numerous and ambiguous characters, interested in the Swee' Pea. It will quickly become clear that their intentions are not evil, as they are actually interested in getting Popeye's adopted son to the throne of the kingdom of Demonia. Segar will sign his last strip a few weeks after this one, on August 27, 1938. Signed, dated and titled.
