Printer's device on the title page and handwritten note, engraved initials, two folded copperplate-engraved leaves at the end of the volume, one titled "Vesuvii prospectus ex aedibus regiis," the other "Vesuvius a vertice dissectus." Contemporary full parchment binding and gilt title on the spine. Scattered foxing. Bookplate on the inside cover: "Francisci Carafae ducis de Forli e comitis Policastri"
