Title pages in red and black, with 21 plates numbered from I to XX (one plate XIX bis is present), some of which are folded and two folded maps, rare light foxing, contemporary half-parchment bindings with corners and decorated paper, gold titles within a tag on the spine, minor defects.

Copy no. 2 of a limited edition of only 275 copies published by the Neapolitan Society of National History. This is a fundamental work on the history of the city of Naples, edited by Neapolitan historian and archivist Bartolomeo Capasso.
