Original comic art made by Battaglia for "William Dampier: filibuster and naturalist", page 22 of this adventure published for the first time in France in the series "La scoperta del mondo a fumetti" by Larousse in 1979. In this wonderful sea scene there is all the mastery of Battaglia, his unmistakable style: the ink scratched by a meticulous razor blade and the ink applied with an evanescent pad. Signed and dedicated by Laura Battaglia, the author's wife.
