Daily comic strip from December 4, 1987, for "Peanuts." Ever since Snoopy first climbed into his doghouse in 1965 and wrote the opening lines of his novel, "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night" this has been the most sought-after image for all Peanuts fans in all the strips Schulz drew for 50 years. More than 20 years after that first appearance, Schulz gives us a fantastic strip in which Snoopy, with his typewriter, pays homage to Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" poking fun at his inseparable Lucy. Thanks to the insight born from that first strip, Schulz created one of the most famous recurring gags in comics history, helping to establish his characters in the collective imagination of millions. Slight vertical crease in the center. Signed and dedicated.
