A prestigious custody from a private collection with two auction sessions, the first being entirely dedicated to Chanel and Hermès with approximately 200 lots. The world's most desirable and celebrated bags that have marked the history of fashion such as the Birkin, the Kelly and the Constance, whose names are linked to legendary women, are offered at auction in various iconic colours and very fine leathers. There are also many Chanel bags in characteristic quilted leathers and declined in various models from mini to XXL.
Not only vintage or more recent bags, but also accessories, household items, jewellery, shoes, clothes, many of which have never been worn. There is no lack of colourful Hermès silk yokes from various eras designed by famous Parisian illustrators and inspired by equestrian, historical or naturalistic themes, which have become cult objects to be collected in their unmistakable ‘boites oranges’.
The second session sees approximately 100 lots dedicated to other exclusive Italian and French brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Balmain and Dior, with a selection from the 1960s to the present day.

Conditions of Sale
In the spring of 2018, a section of the jewellery auction at the Rome office was dedicated to the best pieces from Elsa Martinelli‘s collection, exclusively made by stylists Roberto Capucci, Gai Mattiolo and Yves Saint Laurent for the diva in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
In March 2019, Finarte held the first auction entirely dedicated to the Luxury Fashion Department, which ended with exceptional success. The auction dedicated to a prestigious private collection of Hermès bags totalled over one million euros in sales, with 100% of lots sold. The absolute top lot, a splendid Birkin in Porosus fuchsia crocodile, sold for € 56,250.
The department offers in its auctions beautiful objects with a fascinating history, extraordinary examples of the best craftsmanship of the high fashion industry, and is selecting lots to for the next sales.
