Literature
Born in Venice in 1931, Leone Frollo is considered one of the world's leading exponents of comics and erotic illustration. In the Seventies he began a long collaboration with publishing houses that publish comics "for adults", drawing Lucifera, Snow White, Naga, Yra and other fascinating sexy heroines. The environment and customs of the early decades of the twentieth century fascinated the artist even when he created his masterpiece Mona Street, centered on the erotic adventures of a beautiful American girl from Boston. After this artistic experience, the Master of Rialto abandoned comics to dedicate himself entirely to erotic illustration, putting on paper with watercolors, pencils and colored pastels, an elegant eroticism that owes much to the retro atmospheres, the suggestions of the Belle Époque and the refined decadence of a Venice that no longer exists. Frollo died in Venice in 2018, leaving to the new generations of cartoonists an artistic legacy that is unsurpassed to this day.
