Obverse: Saint Peter, with linear halo, standing right, holding a book and keys in his left hand, extends the standard in his right hand to the Senator kneeling before him, wearing a senatorial cap and robe. SEN along the shaft; - Reverse: The Redeemer, standing facing, with a beaded halo and cross, blessing and holding a book in his left hand, within a halo of five-pointed stars; the whole within a beaded ellipse. At the top of the legend is a holy face.
