Obverse: Laureate head right; - Reverse: Crowned double-headed eagle with crowned coat of arms of Lombardy-Venetia and charged in the center with the shield of Austria, surrounding the Collar of the Golden Fleece.

A fine specimen with a delicate patina. Practically proof-like.

This coin is the basic unit of the Lombardy-Venetia monetary system with imperial patent of November 1, 1823.
Worth 100 cents, equal to 1/3 of a florin or 20 kreuzer of the convention system circulating in the provinces of the Austrian Empire.
Between 1822 and 1823, 516,592 examples were sold in Milan.
