Obverse: The Redeemer seated on a throne, handing the banner to the Doge and blessing him; Reverse: The lion of Saint Mark, rampant, holding the cross in its forepaw. Initials: MV (Matteo Vitturi, massaro).
Montenegro 1021. CNI 325. Paolucci II 80. Very rare.
Beautiful patina from an old collection. Scratch on the obverse.
