Obverse: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, with a lion-shaped pauldron. Stork right below (Charles the Great, mintmaster); - Reverse: Double-headed, ringed imperial eagle, spread and crowned, holding a sword in its right paw and a scepter in its left paw, bearing a multipart shield.
