Experience for 4 people : Private visit to the Tignanello Estate, in the heart of Chianti Classico, with tasting of a selection of wines produced on the Estate, including lunch or dinner and an overnight stay at Villa Tignanello for one night.
Tenuta Tignanello is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, on the soft hills between the Greve and Pesa valleys and extends over 319 hectares of land, with approximately 130 hectares of vineyards. Among its vineyards, two treasures: the Tignanello vineyard and the Solaia vineyard that extend over the same hill, from which the wines of the same name are produced, the pioneers of the so-called "Super Tuscans" that since the mid-1970s have helped to kick off what is called the "Renaissance of Italian wine". The current sixteenth-century manor house was built on the foundations of an estate dating back to 1346, when the land belonged to the Buondelmonti, like much of the Pesa Valley. In the seventeenth century it passed to a cadet branch of the Medici who named it Fonte dei Medici and then to the Antinori family in the mid-1800s. Villa Tignanello is therefore a historic and private place, open only to guests of the Antinori family.
