This pageis part of a group of seven pages dedicated to the stories that see Valentinatormented by the witch Baba Yaga who tries to subdue her to her will (for some,the most beautiful and paradigmatic cycle designed by Crepax). Particular arethe points of view (like the first image, taken from below), the cut of thevignettes (oblique, angular, some triangular and others extremely jagged), andthe montage of the sequence, with figures that often border between a vignetteand the other suggesting a crazy and unbridled scene. A wildness that Valentinasuddenly dampens with her "I don't remember" which is equivalent toan omission.
