The so called "Pre-Vendôme" Panerai are highly sought-after by collectors, being manufactured in very limited numbers before Officine Panerai was sold to the Vendôme Group (now Richemont) in 1997.Launched in collaboration with Sylvester Stallone, the Panerai Luminor Slytech has been produced in around 200 pieces, all of them gifted by the American actor himself, who made this model famous wearing it on the wrist throughout the film "Daylight", in a period when the Panerai name was largely unknown to the public.
